THE COMPANY


A $500m global confectionery branded business which continues to experience unprecedented growth across both UK and international markets, driven by exceptional consumer purchasing, fuelling ever-increasing rates-of-sale through high street retail and grocery retail multiple accounts.


They have a highly collaborative Sales & Marketing team that works with pace, enthusiasm and a clear, well-invested, brand-led marketing strategy focused on consumer insight-led, product innovative, effective brand communications and driving targeted trade listings, distribution and promotional activities. Their brands and target consumers echo a strong sense of fun and energy, which sets the cultural tone across this supportive yet driven business.


THE ROLE


This is an exciting new position which signals yet another sales resource investment in this growing and exciting kids’ confectionery business.

Key responsibilities will be to manage distribution partners in Ireland, NI and Scotland, where you will support, brand-train and help drive their sales teams to increase retail and wholesale brand listings, store distribution and range merchandising quality through the major trade channels.


Working as a key member of the International Sales & Marketing team, you will research and seek out new trading opportunities and work closely with your distributor partners to execute increased sales.

The scope of this new BDM opportunity is endless, but it is more about what you can make it (!)… driving each market’s sales and profitability where your results will be fully recognised and rewarded, both financially and through future career growth opportunities.


ABOUT YOU


You are looking for a new challenge in a growing business, with a focus on business development within a role where you can have real responsibility and make a difference. So far you have successfully grown your FMCG sales career within a brand-led food or drinks business and are now working at RAM/NAE or NAM level, with either a leading distributor or brand manufacturer.


Having been well trained, you have a sound working knowledge of the Irish trade and major players, together with experience of managing retail or wholesale trade accounts.


You are good with numbers, have a natural capability with category insight fact-based selling, can negotiate a deal and possess never-ending drive, energy and a steely determination to succeed.

With a confident and infectious personality, you are fun, great to be around and demonstrate endless enthusiasm for what you do and how you work.
